"Ehoo (利厚)" is short for "Ee-Yong-Hoo-Saeng (利用厚生 meaning "using all means for improving practical aspects of daily lives of common people"), the motto of famous school of thought led by Park Jiwon and other late 18th century scholars of practical teachings. "EHoo" stands for and represents our philosophy that law shall be more than just conceptual rules and models but a practical tool for all walks of life.
